NEW YORK: Jon Hamm of Mad Men fame is set to guest star on the second season of the IFC comedy series The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret, which returns in January 2012.

Hamm will be featured with the series’ stars David Cross (Arrested Development)—who created, wrote and plays the lead role of Todd Margaret—and Will Arnett in five of the six half-hour episodes. Johnny Marr, founding member of the band the Smiths, returns to score and perform the series’ original music.

Hamm, known best as Don Draper in the drama series Mad Men, earned a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor in a Drama Series in 2008. Recently, he starred in Judd Apatow’s film Bridesmaids.

The series is a co-production between IFC and RDF Television. Zodiak Rights has worldwide distribution rights.
