Telemundo Novela Makes Further Debuts in Europe

MIAMI: Paula, for Love or Money (Los Herederos del Monte) has premiered in Romania and Estonia this week, following a distribution deal with Telemundo Internacional.

The novela, which is an adaptation of TVN’s Chilean series Hijos del Monte, debuted in Romania on July 18 on Channel Acasa TV and in Estonia on July 19 on Channel Kanal 2. It is also currently airing in Bolivia, Ecuador, Colombia, Costa Rica, Venezuela, Spain and Croatia. It has been commercialized in more than 20 countries, including Argentina, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay.

Los Herederos del Monte is about five adopted brothers who inherit their father’s land after his death. But an estranged sister comes to claim the estate and declares to be their father’s only biological child.

"I am very excited about this telenovela’s premiere in Romania and Estonia, two countries where it will most certainly be a great success after the amazing results of El Cuerpo del Deseo (Second Chance) since Mario Cimarro is a favorite Telemundo actor of most European broadcasters," said Melissa Pillow, the sales director at Telemundo Internacional for Central and Eastern Europe.
