CSI Creator Heads to ABC Studios

LOS ANGELES: Anthony Zuiker, the creator behind the hit CSI franchise, has signed a three-year first-look deal with ABC Studios, ending his 12-year working relationship with CBS Television Studios.

Zuiker and his Dare to Pass Productions outfit are teaming up with Brillstein Entertainment Partners to develop scripted series. Zuiker and JoAnn Alfano, who was recently appointed president of Brillstein Television, will share executive-producer credit for the joint projects to come from the new agreement. Zuiker will be working with ABC Studios’ head of drama, Patrick Moran.
