NGC Bolsters Development Team with New VPs

WASHINGTON, D.C.: National Geographic Channel has added Kim Woodard and Kevin Mohs to its senior programming team as VPs of development and production.

Woodard and Mohs will join Charlie Parsons, the VP of global development, and Bridget Hunnicutt, the senior VP of global development and production. The new VPs, tasked with overseeing specials and series, will report to Michael Cascio, the interim senior VP of content.

Prior to this, Woodard served as senior executive producer and executive in charge of National Geographic Television’s New York production office. Before that, she was a senior producer at the Washington, D.C. office and created the series National Geographic’s Most Amazing Moments, DogTown and Lockdown.

Mohs had been VP of production at Discovery Channel since 2009, working on programs such as Deadliest Catch, Mythbusters and Dirty Jobs. For 11 years prior he worked at Animal Planet as executive and producer, director of development and then VP of production.
