Kelli Giddish, Danny Pino Join Law & Order: SVU

UNIVERSAL CITY: Two new detectives have been cast as series regulars for NBC’s Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Kelli Giddish (Chase) and Danny Pino (Cold Case).

Giddish starred in the NBC drama Chase as U.S. Marshal Annie Frost. She was also in Past Life and has made guest appearances on The Good Wife, Life on Mars and Without a Trace. She also previously made guest appearances on Law & Order: SVU and Law & Order: Criminal Intent.

Pino was on Cold Case for seven seasons as Senior Detective Scotty Valens. His guest-starring credits include The Shield, Men, Women & Dogs and Burn Notice.

"Kelli and Danny are two great actors who will join a proven cast headed by Mariska Hargitay as this exceptional series heads into a very promising 13th season," said Bob Greenblatt, the chairman of NBC Entertainment.

Dick Wolf, the show’s executive producer and creator, commented, "I’m very pleased that we have two amazing actors joining the cast. I know this combination will give us the opportunity to explore the world of SVU with new eyes."
