LONDON: As Optomen International gears up for DISCOP tomorrow with two fresh series, it has already secured more than 100 hours of new licenses in the region.

Viasat in Slovenia acquired the One Potato Two Potato production Ramsay’s Best Restaurant, Kitchen Nightmares U.S. seasons three and four, both seasons of Gordon’s Great Escape and the U.K. and U.S. versions of Cookalong.

PRVA/B92 in Serbia secured both the U.S. and U.K. versions of Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares and Prima TV in Czech Republic snagged the third Kitchen Nightmares installment.

“We continue to open up exciting new relationships in the CIS market and when we do, our programming plants firmly on the schedules, entertaining huge audiences for broadcasters,” said Peta Sykes, the sales manager for CEE at Optomen International. “We look forward to more of the same at DISCOP.”

New to Optomen’s slate is the series Mary’s Fashion Victims, a 3×1-hour show for Channel 4 hosted by Mary Portas to air in September, and Super Interiors, a 5×1-hour show hosted by Kelly Hoppen to air on Channel Five in the fall.

In Mary’s Fashion Victims, Portas launches her own fashion and cosmetics lines aimed at women over 40, and in Super Interiors, Hoppen uses her rules of design to assist with makeovers for home decorating mishaps.
