The Amazing Race Set for 20th Season

LOS ANGELES: CBS has ordered a 20th season of the reality competition The Amazing Race, while the 19th installment of the show kicks off this fall.

Last season’s two editions of The Amazing Race averaged 11.19 million viewers. The 19th season starts this fall on Sundays at 8 p.m. Season 20 is slated for broadcast in 2012.

Jerry Bruckheimer, Bertram van Munster, Jonathan Littman, Elise Doganieri and Mark Vertullo are the executive producers for Jerry Bruckheimer Television and Earthview Inc. in association with ABC Studios and Amazing Race Productions. The seven-time Emmy Award-winning show is hosted by Phil Keoghan.
