LONDON: Target Entertainment and Back2Back Productions have teamed up to co-produce the documentaries In Search of Pippa Middleton, about Kate Middleton’s little sister, and Kate and the Real Housewives of Anglesey, which talks to the townspeople of the isle that the royal couple now call home.

The fast-turnaround doc In Search of Pippa Middleton spotlights the Duchess of Cambridge’s little sister, featuring interviews with people who know her directly. Kate and the Real Housewives of Anglesey features the people living in the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s new town, getting their take on having the royal couple become a part of their community.

Target holds all international rights to both one-hour documentaries. In Search of Pippa Middleton has been sold by Back2Back to Bio channel in the U.K.

Alison Rayson, the CEO at Target, said: “We are hugely excited to be working with Back2Back again. David Notman-Watts’ Pippa and Kate Middleton documentaries delve into the lives of the most talked about sisters in the world today. The appetite to learn more about their lives from a global audience is insatiable and therefore it was a very easy decision in this instance to both act as co-producer and distributor.”

David Notman-Watt, the executive producer at Back2Back adds: “We are delighted to be working with Target on these two fast-turnaround documentaries. The Royal Wedding captured the world’s imagination, and in a few short minutes Pippa Middleton was transformed from simple bridesmaid into a global phenomenon. In In Search of Pippa Middleton, we will explore how this transformation happened, and by speaking to those closest to her, we will find out who P-Middy is and how she will is handling life in the glare of public adoration. Kate and The Real Housewives of Anglesey, a companion piece, is a humorous and light-hearted look at the wives of Anglesey who are now neighbours to the future Queen of England. Life at the Women’s Institute will never be the same again.”
