VIMN Appoints Asian Distribution Exec

SINGAPORE: Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) in North and Southeast Asia has named Jimmy Kim as VP of content distribution.

Kim is tasked with optimizing sales and client services for the distribution of VIMN’s channels and content. He will manage relationships with the company’s cable and satellite partners as well as work closely with management to identify new opportunities across multiple platforms. Kim is based in Singapore, reporting to Indra Suharjono, the executive VP and managing director of VIMN North & Southeast Asia.

“Jimmy’s appointment as vice president of content distribution reflects our broadened approach to working with our distribution partners, and he is incredibly well suited to lead our efforts across North and Southeast Asia,” said Suharjono. “Jimmy’s assuming a role designed to work hand in hand with each of our existing distribution partners as well as maximize opportunities that Viacom’s content presents across new platforms across the continent.”
