Duncan Clark Upped at UPI

LONDON: Universal Pictures International (UPI) has promoted Duncan Clark to president of distribution, upped from the executive VP role.

Clark had been serving as executive VP of distribution for UPI since 2006. He helped the company transition from its joint venture with Paramount Pictures in 2007.

In his new role, as president of distribution, Clark supervises Universal Pictures’ operating companies, UIP Joint Ventures and manages relationships with the company’s independent sales agents.

He reports to David Kosse, the president of international at Universal Pictures. Kosse commented: “Duncan was one of my first hires when we made the decision to establish our own international operations. His knowledge of the worldwide distribution market has been invaluable in driving our strategy. UPI’s tremendous success over the past four years is a testament to his efforts, and he will be vital to our growth moving forward.”
