Tricon Secures Raft of Factual Sales

TORONTO: Tricon Films & Television has sold a number of series from its factual and lifestyle catalogue, including the first and second seasons of the 26×30-minute Decked Out, which was picked up by Discovery in the U.K.

The 13×30-minute docu-drama House of Brian was taken by Telemaison in France; the third season of the food series Fresh and the second-season renewal of the show was picked up by XYZ Australia; the network also picked up House of Brian.

In New Zealand, the Living Channel snapped up seasons one and two of Spice Goddess; the series also got picked up by TV4’s Kanal Global in Sweden.

Poland’s Canal+ acquired the fourth season of the docu-soap Marriage Under Construction; the first season of Decked Out; and, the third season of Fresh.

African Business Channel in South Africa also took the first season of Decked Out, the fourth season of Marriage Under Construction, and the home-renovation series Building Bryks.

Rounding out the sales, Origo in Hungary took Restaurant Makeover and Bitchin’ Kitchen, alongside the first and second seasons of the scripted series The Smart Woman Survival Guide.
