Rive Gauche Secures Raft of LatAm Deals

LOS ANGELES: Rive Gauche Television has scored deals for its non-scripted programming slate with broadcasters across Latin America.

Sports Crash was taken by Channel 12 in El Salvador, as well as Channel 9 in Costa Rica.

Meanwhile, the first three seasons of Scare Tactics were picked up by Intrasa in Nicaragua and Multivision in Mexico for pay-TV.

The fourth season of Dog Whisperer was snapped up by Señal Colombia, while seasons two, three and four of the series were sold to Channel 9 in Costa Rica, Channel 12 in El Salvador and SERTV Channel 11 in Panama.

Sports Disasters also sold to Channel 9 in Costa Rica and Channel 12 in El Salvador; Whacked Out Sports went to Intrasa.

Tomas Silva, the international sales executive for Rive Gauche, said: “Latin America has developed a strong appetite for non-scripted programming, however the keys are quality and promotability. We’re pleased that Latin American buyers recognize these qualities in our non-scripted series."
