L.A. Screenings: New from Twentieth Century Fox

LOS ANGELES: Steven Spielberg’s Terra Nova and a Bones spinoff are among the new network series being showcased by Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution at the L.A. Screenings, alongside cable fare like FX’s Elijah Wood comedy Wilfred and Showtime’s Homeland.

On the broadcast network front, the drama lineup includes FOX’s delayed adventure series Terra Nova from Spielberg and Peter Chernin, among other exec producers, plus NBC’s buzzed-about ’60s drama The Playboy Club; The Finder, a spin-off of FOX’s long-running Bones; and the NBC midseason detective drama Awake. Fox is also showcasing a comedy lineup with the animated shows Allen Gregory and Napolean Dynamite; New Girl, with Zooey Deschanel, also for FOX; and ABC’s Apartment 23 and Last Man Standing.

The cable series that Fox is representing include FX’s Wilfred and Showtime’s Homeland, based on the Israeli Keshet format Prisoners of War starring Claire Danes.
