NEW YORK: Atlas Media Corp. is to produce a new docu-series centered on Rachel Uchitel, a nightclub manager who has been at the center of a number of tabloid headlines.

Uchitel first gained attention after the 9/11 terrorist attacks when a photograph of her clutching a missing poster of her fiancé appeared in newspapers around the world. She became the director of VIP operations at one of America’s most successful nightclubs, and later made headlines as one of golfer Tiger Woods’ mistresses as well as for an affair with actor David Boreanaz. She appeared on Dr. Drew’s Celebrity Rehab, where she was treated for a "love addiction," and has since refocused her life and discovered a passion for private investigation.

The Atlas Media Corp. reality series will feature Uchitel in this new phase of her life, juggling her career as well as her personal and business relationships. The series is being pitched to networks this week.

“Rachel is smart, engaging, and has a unique and colorful background,” said Bruce David Klein, Atlas Media’s president and executive producer. “But—surprise—she has a serious talent for private investigation, and is handling real-life cases as we speak.”

“I look forward to working with the amazing team at Atlas Media to develop a smart docu-series that will showcase the exciting world of private investigators—a world that has been my primary focus for some time now,” commented Uchitel.
