NATPE PitchCon to Feature Hawaii Five-0, Lifetime’s Coming Home

LOS ANGELES: The Lifetime series Coming Home, which features the surprise reunions of American military personnel and their families, is being honored with NATPE’s fourth annual Innovator Award at PitchCon, where Peter Lenkov, exec producer of CBS’s Hawaii Five-0, is taking part in the Coffee With session.

On June 10, Tom Forman, the CEO of RelativelyREAL and executive producer of Coming Home, will accept the award at a special lunch. The award recognizes outstanding achievement in non-scripted programming. "Coming Home has done an incredible job of highlighting the commitment and sacrifice of not only the men and women serving in all five branches of the armed forces, but of their families as well," said Rick Feldman, the president and CEO of NATPE. "NATPE is proud to honor both our troops and the show for its contributions with the Innovator Award.”

Lenkov kicks off PitchCon with the the special Coffee With session. His session opens the two-day event, which takes place June 9 and 10 at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel in Los Angeles. “Peter’s achievements on both the big and small screens, and his impressive success in creating something fresh from a television classic, will set the stage for a unique and compelling discussion at PitchCon,” commented Feldman. “His experience across platforms and genres will lend great insight, and we look forward to this conversation.”
