New ABC Drama Heads into Production

BURBANK: Ashley Judd leads the cast of the highly anticipated new drama series Missing for ABC, which is currently in production in Europe for an initial ten episodes.

The series tells the story of a mother whose son suddenly disappears while studying abroad. The show follows how far she’ll go to find him and bring him home. Missing is from writer Gregory Poirier (National Treasure: Book of Secrets) and executive producers Gina Matthews and Grant Scharbo (The Gates).

Along with Judd (Double Jeopardy, Kiss the Girls), Missing stars Sean Bean (Game of Thrones), Nick Eversman (Cinema Verite), Cliff Curtis (Trauma), Adriano Giannini (Oceans Twelve) and Tereza Voriskova (Borgia).
