SPT Scores European Sales for The Big C, Justified

CULVER CITY: Sony Pictures Television (SPT) has made a number of sales for The Big C and Justified in countries across Europe, including Norway, the Netherlands and Russia.

The half-hour comedy The Big C, which is now placed in 171 territories, is set to air on TV2 in Norway, FOX in the Netherlands, Inter in Ukraine, Domashny in Russia and FOX in Italy. The series stars Emmy- and Golden Globe-winner Laura Linney as a reserved suburban wife and mother whose recent cancer diagnosis forces her to change up her life. Oliver Platt plays her immature, but well-meaning husband.

The hit crime drama Justified has been picked up by RTL in the Netherlands, Inter in Ukraine and Pro7 in Germany. The hour-long show, which currently airs in 193 territories and recently received a 13-episode season three pickup from FX in the U.S., stars Timothy Olyphant as a modern-day deputy U.S. Marshal with a 19th century-style sense of justice.
