Comedy Central Digital Debuts The Download

NEW YORK: Comedy Central Digital has launched The Download, a weekly online talk show hosted by comedian Jordan Rubin.

The show centers on comedic targets that come from the technology and entertainment industries. Samsung is the exclusive sponsor of The Download and its Smart TV will be showcased in each of four weekly episodes as Rubin and his sidekick, pop culture blogger Molly McAleer, turn to the Internet for comedy inspiration.

Rubin was the head writer of the MTV Movie Awards and the writer of the opening film for the 2011 Academy Awards broadcast; each week on The Download, Rubin will interview guests from the comedy, entertainment or technology industries, focusing on how the guest uses social media and gadgets.
