Caracol Appoints Senior Director of International Sales

BOGOTÁ: Caracol Television has promoted Lisette Osorio from international director to senior director of international sales.

In her current position, Osorio, who has been with Caracol for five years, has managed the commercialization of content in Latin America and a range of European territories. In her new role, which is based in Miami, she will handle directly new clients in Latin America and the U.S., as well as lead the rest of the distributor’s sales team.

The sales executives for Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East and the team of traffic material will report to Osorio. She will also be responsible for coordinating and executing the commercialization strategy of Caracol’s finished products and formats at the international level.

Angélica Guerra, the international VP of Caracol and to whom Osorio will report, commented of the appointment: “Lisette has been a decisive piece in the international positioning of Caracol. This is in recognition of her hard work throughout the past years, to her commitment to the company and to the extraordinary results that she has had in her territories.”

Guerra continued: “The international business has become an area of strategic growth for the company. In this sense, we have strengthened our executive team, with the purpose of taking the company to the next level.”
