Content Adds Indie Drama to Catalogue

LONDON: Content has picked up the international rights to 96 Minutes, an independent drama, based on true events, written and directed by Aimee Lagos and starring Brittany Snow and Evan Ross.

The film, which picked up an award at the South By Southwest Film Festival last month for co-star Ross (jury award for breakthrough performance), also features Christian Serratos, Jonathan Michael Trautmann and David Oyelow. Produced by First Point Entertainment’s Lee Clay, Perfect Weekend’s Justin Moore-Lewy and Charlie Mason, Katonah Pictures’ Dan Abrams, and Paul Gilreath, the thriller focuses on four young people caught up in a carjacking.

"We’re thrilled to be working with Content Media," said Justin Moore-Lewy, co-founder at Venice-based Perfect Weekend. "96 Minutes is a labor of love for us—a coming-of-age story that tackles tough issues of class divide and themes that audiences around the world can relate to. We have every confidence that Jamie and his team will bring unique opportunities based on their excellent relationships in the international film markets.’

Content will be selling the film at the Cannes Film Festival next month.
