Disney Inks Deal for Branded Video ‘Stores’ in France

PARIS: The Walt Disney Company France is partnering with Free for two multiplatform services delivering Disney and ABC programming to TV sets, computers, game consoles, tablets, mobile phones and other devices.

Launching April 14, the branded digital TV video "stores," Disneytek and ABCtek, allow Free subscribers to stream to their TVs and download to their PCs or Macs hit Disney movies and series from Disney Channel, Disney XD, Disney Junior and ABC Studios. Users will be able to transfer this programming to other compatible devices. On Disneytek, available titles include Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Toy Story 3, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End, Hannah Montana and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. ABCtek fare includes Desperate Housewives and Castle.
