Journeyman Lines Up Libya Doc

CANNES: Journeyman Pictures, a U.K.-based distributor, is offering the international market a documentary special about the Libyan civil war, called Benghazi Stories.

Adding to the company’s doc slate are the HD titles Sequestro and Broken Moon. "Sequestro is the most powerful doc I have ever signed," said the company’s managing director, Mark Stucke. "It had my hair standing on end. Fast-paced and edgy, Sequestro is adrenalin-filled, shocking and full of energy. Four years in production, it follows Sao Paulo’s anti-kidnap police, with the producer riding along to locate houses holding captives, freeing horrified victims and busting criminals."

Stucke continues, "Broken Moon is a cinematic HD adventure that takes us to a slower and more thoughtful part of the world, but one suffering from a crisis that is just as deadly. The people of this remote Himalayan land must abandon their homes as climate change turns their once beautiful and fruitful world into a desert."
