LONDON: ALL3MEDIA International has licensed more than 50 episodes of its hit factual-entertainment series Border Patrol, produced for TVNZ, to TV Norge.

The Norwegian broadcaster has taken all five seasons (55 half-hour episodes) of the Cream Media production, which also recently sold to SBS in Denmark. In addition, XYZ Entertainment in Australia took seasons one to three and SBS Netherlands went for seasons four and five.

"Border Patrol will be an important continuation in our docusoap strand for the TV Norge access slot," said Bente Engebretsen, the senior acquisitions executive for TV Norge. "Workplace-based factual entertainment works very well for us and we are very pleased that we can now add Border Patrol to our schedules."

“We are delighted to see Border Patrol heading to audiences in Norway," added Liza Thompson, the VP of international sales at ALL3MEDIA. "The unpredictable and exciting situations the officers often find themselves in, set against the stunning and unique backdrop of New Zealand, creates fantastic viewing with great international appeal.”
