Canamedia to Present New Lifestyle Titles at MIPTV

TORONTO: Canamedia is headed to MIPTV with a slate of more than 100 hours of factual and lifestyle programming, including ten newly acquired titles.

Canamedia is set to launch the 13×30-minute investigative series The Conspiracy Show, which features interviews with researchers, skeptics and authors as they attempt to uncover the truth behind various conspiracy theories. The show is led by talk-radio personality Richard Syrett.

Alien Invaders! is a 6×1-hour new travel science series, where three hosts invade the worlds of different animals, fish, insects and plants. The second season of the 13×30-minute Fraud Squad, an investigative series focused on the global problem of fraud, will also be on offer. Last Bride Standing is a 26×30-minute reality series that centers on a contest for a free wedding package worth more than $100,000. The 13×30-minute series Key West Time focuses on the island lifestyle of the Floriday Keys, highlighting food, facts and things to do.

Meanwhile, Man Up! is a 9×30-minute reality game show for men, where teammates are challenged to tough physical competitions while a paid actor attempts to ruin the teams’ chance of success. The hour-long project When the Devil Knocks tells the story of Hilary Stanton and her struggle with Dissociative Identity Disorder over a ten-year time frame. Remake My Life is a 13×1-hour series in which one woman is given a life makeover with the help of coaches and mentors. The 10×30-minute series Inspiring Lives Global follows businesswoman and TV host Tiamara Williams’ efforts to make a difference in the world as she travels to a different location each week to take action on various humanitarian and environmental projects.

Rounding out Canamedia’s newly acquired slate is the 13×30-minute series Adventures in Wine Country, in which Chuck Byers and Greg Rist travel through wine regions in Europe and Canada.
