UNI Extends HD Channels into New Markets

LONDON: Universal Networks International (UNI) is continuing to roll out its Universal Channel HD, with a new launch in Turkey and expanded distribution secured in Southeastern Asia.

Universal Channel HD has now launched in Turkey. Separately, Universal Channel HD followed up its Malaysian launch with new carriage in Taiwan. Universal Channel HD in Southeast Asia features the exclusive Asian premiere of two brand-new series: Law & Order: Los Angeles and Outsourced, as well as other shows in the Law & Order franchise, The Event, The Office and Flashpoint. In Asia, Universal Channel HD is also available in Japan.

The new launches continue UNI’s momentum of launching HD channels for core brands—currently reaching over 40 territories.
