FOX Unveils Summer Grid

LOS ANGELES: So You Think You Can Dance, Masterchef and Hell’s Kitchen are all part of FOX’s summer lineup.

The summer schedule kicks off on May 26 with the premiere of the eighth season of So You Think You Can Dance. The hit dance competition returns with a special two-hour premiere at 8 p.m. Once auditions wrap, weekly two-hour performance shows will air Wednesdays at 8 p.m. and weekly results shows will air Thursdays at 8 p.m., followed by encore episodes of Glee at 9 p.m.

Gordon Ramsay, along with restaurateur Joe Bastianich and chef Graham Elliot, are back for a second season of the culinary competition Masterchef starting June 6. The show will be aired Mondays at 8 p.m. and Tuesdays at 8 p.m. Ramsay is also featured Tuesdays on Hell’s Kitchen, which debuts July 19 at 9 p.m., after the all-new episodes of Masterchef.

Starting June 3, FOX will feature Friday nights with Bones at 8 p.m. and encores of Lie to Me at 9 p.m. Saturdays will feature all-new and encore episodes of Cops at 8 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., giving a lead-in to new installments of America’s Most Wanted at 9 p.m. until its season finale on June 18. Encores of the police drama The Chicago Code begin June 25 at 9 p.m. Sundays will feature the return of the animated comedies The Simpsons, The Cleveland Show, Family Guy, America Dad and newcomer Bob’s Burgers.
