Benidorm Bastards Gets Romanian Treatment

MUNICH: Romania is the latest country to adapt the SevenOne International format Benidorm Bastards for local broadcast, with the show airing Tuesdays on Prima TV under the title Batrani si Nelinistiti.

The show has been sold to more than 20 countries, including France, Spain, Germany, Greece, Israel, South Korea and Scandinavia. Produced by Shelter, Benidorm Bastards is a hidden-camera series that follows seven senior citizens who roam the streets to blow the minds of as many young people as possible.

Axel Böhm, the regional sales director and head of international fiction acquisition at SevenOne International, said: "I am more than thrilled by the success of Benidorm Bastards. The format turned into one of the hottest show on the market in no time. Ever since then, the show has been in high international demand and we are delighted to see the show on Prima TV enter Romania."
