Globo TV Sports Sells São Paulo Championship into the U.K.

SÃO PAULO: Globo TV Sports has scored a deal with Premier Sports TV to bring the 2011 São Paulo and Brazilian football championships to U.K. viewers.

According to the terms of the deal, Premier Sports TV will broadcast two games per week, along with the 30-minute weekly highlights show Footbrazil.

A Premier Sports spokesperson commented: “This is great news for football fans in the U.K. who will now have the chance to watch one of the best leagues in the world every week. We really are the home of South American Football in the U.K. with the Copa Libertadores, Copa Sudamericana, Argentine Primera division and now the Brazilian leagues.”
