TF1 2010 Revenues Up 11 Percent

BOULOGNE-BILLANCOURT: A boost in adspend helped drive up TF1 Group’s 2010 revenues 11 percent to 2.6 billion euros, with a net profit that more than doubled to 229 million euros.

Advertising revenues for TF1 gained 8 percent to 1.55 billion euros, while other revenues gained 15 percent to 1.07 billion euros, driven in part by the resale of World Cup rights.

By segment, overall French broadcasting revenues were up 12 percent to 2.1 billion euros, and international broadcasting revenues from Eurosport rose 14 percent to 364 million euros. Revenues fell 5 percent in the audiovisual rights segment to 143 million euros.
