Optomen Scores Pickups on Gordon Ramsay Titles

LONDON: Optomen International has inked a range of deals across southern Europe for Gordon Ramsay’s classic shows as well as the latest series from the celebrity chef, Gordon Ramsay’s Shark Bait.

Greece’s Skai TV opted for Shark Bait, a One Potato Two Potato Production, as part of a package deal that includes season five of The F Word, Ramsay’s Best Restaurant, Gordon Ramsay’s Ultimate Christmas, Gordon Ramsay Cookalong Live USA and Gordon’s Great Escape Series 2: South East Asia.

RTL Televizija picked up all episodes of the original British version of Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares as well as Gordon Ramsay’s Ultimate Christmas. The broadcaster reconfirmed the format license for Kitchen Nightmares for a third local series. Seasons one and two of Heston’s Feast and Police, Camera, Action! are also headed to Croatia under the deal.

The original U.K. version of Kitchen Nightmares also went to TV3 in Slovenia, along with U.S. Kitchen Nightmares and Gordon Ramsay’s Ultimate Christmas.
