Spike Team to Air on Rai 2

MILAN: The new animated series from Volleyball champion Andrea Lucchetta, Spike Team, has secured a Sunday morning slot on Rai 2 in Italy.

The show is produced by Lucky Dreams and Rai Fiction under the artistic direction of Maurizio Forestieri and the executive production supervision of Marco Ugolini, both of Graphilm Ascolta. Rai 2 is airing the series at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday, and every morning for 21 days is running a minute-long teaser, with Lucchetta presenting the characters and revealing details of the show. Spike Team centers on six 16-year-old girls who build a team in order to win a volleyball championship. They are led by coach Lucky, will trans them in this adventure both individually and as a team.

TeamWorks manages the TV distribution and licensing rights of Spike Team.
