NEW YORK: 4Kids Entertainment and Nihon Ad Systems have teamed up with Cinedigm Digital Cinema to bring the 3D animated movie Yu-Gi-Oh! 3D: Bonds Beyond Time to digital theaters across North America in February and March.

The movie was created by manga artist Kazuki Takahashi. Cinedigm is bringing the film to 250 theaters for two consecutive weekends on February 26 and 27 and March 5 and 6 throughout U.S. Theater locations will be confirmed in the coming weeks. The North American film version has a ten-minute back story on the three main characters, footage that was not included in Japan’s original movie release. Additionally, moviegoers at the four special screenings will receive an exclusive Konami “Malefic Red-Eyes B. Dragon” Yu-Gi-Oh! collectible trading card as well as a mini-manga from Viz Media.

“The release of this breakthrough film speaks to the long-term appeal of the Yu-Gi-Oh! brand, still the best selling trading card game in the world,” said Roz Nowicki, the executive VP of global marketing and licensing at 4Kids Entertainment.
