This American Life with Ira Glass, which previously aired on Showtime, makes its basic-cable premiere January 10. The BBC Three show Kill It, Cook It, Eat It, billed as a farm-to-table reality series, launches January 11.

"We remain committed to investing in long-form programming that provides compelling storytelling of real life and real life issues," said James DuBern, general manager of network operations at Current TV. "The acquisition of these hidden gems greatly complements our original fare, with each series offering the same provocative storytelling that has become a hallmark of our network.
