OSN to Offer 3D Content on On-Demand Service

DUBAI: Orbit Showtime Network (OSN) has slated 3D movies to air on its on-demand service across the Middle East.

OSN launches this 3D push with the debut of the underwater odyssey Oceanworld 3D this month. The film takes viewers on a journey through Californian kelp forests, the Great Barrier Reef in Australia and Roca Partida Island off the coast of Mexico. The satcaster has also secured the rights to Bolt, Street Dance and Final Destination all to air in 3D, along with sports content.

OSN, a JV of 
Showtime Arabia and the Orbit Group of Companies, will offer the 3D movies-on-demand at no extra cost to Premier and Platinum customers.
