Globo Series Headed to Poland

SÃO PAULO: Globo TV International has sold its drama series City of Men and Internal Affairs to Poland’s Polcast Television for launch on Tele 5 at the beginning of 2011.

City of Men is a spin-off of the Academy Award-nominated City of God, following two best friends in the slums of Rio de Janeiro.

Internal Affairs is a crime drama, consisting of 12 30-minute episodes, that scored a 42-percent share in its Brazilian airing. Renewed for a second season, the show has been licensed into the U.S., South Korea, Nicaragua and Panama.
