Video Interview: Luke Perry

NEW YORK: Actor Luke Perry talks to World Screen about the inspiration for the TV movie Goodnight for Justice, the potential to develop a series of projects with the character he plays in the film and the appeal of the TV-movie genre.

Since the start of his acting career in the late ’80s, Luke Perry has worked across the broad spectrum of the entertainment industry, from network TV—where he is best known as bad boy Dylan McKay on Beverly Hills, 90210—to basic and premium cable, feature films and even Broadway. With his latest project, Goodnight for Justice, Perry is bringing to life one of his own creations, a character named John Goodnight, a Circuit Court Judge in the American Old West who is hell bent on justice. The Hallmark Movie Channel original, which is being represented worldwide by Entertainment One Television International, is slated to premiere in 2011. It reunites Perry with fellow 90210 alum Jason Priestley, who is directing the film.
