Hasbro Studios in Programming Agreement with Corus Entertainment

LOS ANGELES: A new agreement sees a range of Hasbro Studios’ series, including Transformers Prime and My Little Pony Friendship is Magic, heading to Corus Entertainment’s kids’ services, including YTV and Treehouse.

The deal also covers Hasbro-produced shows such as G.I. Joe Renegades, The Adventures of Chuck and Friends and Pound Puppies. These series will now be aired across the Corus bouquet of children’s services that includes YTV, Treehouse Nickelodeon Canada, TELETOON and TELETOON Retro.

“Corus Television marks the first of many international distribution agreements that are designed to create Hasbro’s immersive brand experiences around the world,” said Hasbro Studios’ president, Stephen Davis. “We are delighted to be in business with Corus, one of Canada’s leading specialty and pay TV broadcasters, which is renowned for its niche-focused television brands, strong partnerships and compelling content.”
