NEW YORK/LONDON/LOS ANGELES: Big Shots L.A., a new original reality series from Babelgum about a paparazzi team in Los Angeles, is now available for free streaming online and through iPhone, iPod touch and Google Android devices.

The show is directed by Brad Blondheim and presented by Wonderful Pistachios. It follows tabloid photographer Tuan Pham and his team of shutterbugs, Phamous Fotos, on their daily quest to photograph celebrities. The docudrama goes behind-the-camera to look into the lives of the crew of photographers who work in the business of tabloid journalism.

“We’re thrilled to launch this behind-the-scenes look at one of the most misunderstood professions in the world,” said Karol Martesko-Fenster, the senior VP and general manager of Babelgum’s film and animation division. “The paparazzi team that Brad profiles is chock full of big personalities, and it’s fascinating getting to know the stories, dreams, and surprising ambitions of the people behind the flash bulb. They are as much a part of Hollywood culture as the celebs themselves, something that, until now, only insiders could fully appreciate.”

“We are delighted to be working with our friends at Babelgum on this original project,” added Blondheim. “I knew when we met Tuan and his crew that they’d make entertaining, larger-than-life characters in a reality series. Following them has been an endlessly exciting adventure, and I think audiences who walk in their footsteps are going to feel the same, whether they’re watching on the Web or on their cell phones.”
