Discovery Ups German Sales Director

LONDON: Saever Lemke has been promoted to director of program sales for Germany at Discovery Enterprises International, where he will be directly responsible for opportunities with third-party broadcasters in Germany-speaking Europe and Benelux.

Lemke joined Discovery in January 2006 as a program sales manager. Prior to this he worked for Tandem Communications as international sales executive. Before that he was a strategic planner for the program and communications department of NBC Universal (formerly Universal Studios Networks Germany).

“Saevar has proven himself an integral member of the Discovery Enterprises International family and, in this new role, he will continue to identify and generate impressive sales opportunities for the division,” said Nicolas Bonard, the senior VP of Discovery Enterprises International.
