DQE Signs Thai Home-Video Agreement

HYDERABAD: DQ Entertainment has entered into an exclusive home-video distribution deal for the 3D series Iron Man: Armored Adventures season one with TIGA Entertainment of Thailand.

TIGA now holds the home-video rights for the first season of the animated series in English and Thai for Thailand, in a five-year deal. The first season of Iron Man premiered in the U.S. on Nicktoons in April 2009 and in Canada on TELETOON shortly after.

Tapaas Chakravarti, the chairman and CEO of DQE Group, commented: "Our high-octane animated superhero, Iron Man, debuted in Thailand on Turner Entertainment Networks’ children’s channel and received rave reviews. The action packed adventure series of Iron Man has garnered a huge fan following amongst children in this region.
