Pink Panther Christmas Special in the Works

LOS ANGELES: Rubicon Studios and MGM are re-teaming for a new half-hour animated holiday special based on the iconic Pink Panther character.

A Very Pink Christmas will feature the Pink Panther pitted against his arch nemesis, Big Nose, as they operate adjacent Christmas tree lots and try to outsell each other in order to afford a greedy Christmas prize. The special goes into production this month, and MGM will distribute the project worldwide in time for the 2011 holiday season.
