More Dinosaur Train from Jim Henson

HOLLYWOOD: Production has begun on a second season of the hit CG-animated preschool series Dinosaur Train from The Jim Henson Company.

A further 26 half-hour episodes are in the works. The new season is slated to premiere in fall 2011 in the U.S. on PBS KIDS. The show will continue to be co-produced with Singapore’s Sparky Animation. Craig Bartlett, Lisa Henson and Halle Stanford will executive produce the new season. The Jim Henson Company will continue to oversee all ancillary exploitation of the property, including licensing and merchandising. PBS will handle DVD distribution to consumer and education markets.
