Universal Cable Productions on MTV Project

NEW YORK: I Just Want My Pants Back is a new half-hour comedy pilot for MTV produced by Universal Cable Productions, marking its first project outside the NBCU family. 

I Just Want My Pants Back is based on a novel of the same name by David Rosen, who also wrote the pilot. The half-hour comedy pilot is executive produced by Doug Liman, whose credits include the Bourne trilogoy, Mr. & Mrs. Smith and The O.C. The story is about you 20-somethings who are trying to make a life for themselves in New York City. While they haven’t established their career path, they do discover that they’re pretty good at dating and enjoying the carefree lifestyle. 

Universal Cable Productions are also behind Covert Affairs and Royal Pains.
