Genevieve Dexter Sells CAKE Stake

LONDON: Genevieve Dexter has sold her majority stake in U.K.-based kids’ outfit CAKE Entertainment to co-director Tom van Waveren following a three-year partnership.

The parting is on amicable terms, CAKE said in a statement today. “It’s been a very successful enterprise and I am very proud of what we have achieved as well as with the outcome of our agreement,” Dexter said.

“Genevieve’s contribution to the success of CAKE has obviously been considerable and I am grateful that she is entrusting the company to Ed Galton and myself going forward,” added van Waveren.

Ed Galton remains at the company as managing director of CAKE Distribution.
