Gemini Nominations Announced

TORONTO: The Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television has announced the nominations for the 25th annual Gemini Awards, with the drama Flashpoint leading the pack with 15 nods.

Flashpoint is up for 15 awards, including best dramatic series. Coverage of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games scored 13 nominations. Shaftesbury’s Bloodletting and Miraculous Cures, as well as Guns, Stargate Universe and The Summit, are up for awards in 9 categories each. Less Than Kind and Love, Hate and Propaganda each scored 8 nods.
