LONDON: UKTV has taken on 30 hours of factual and entertainment programming from 4Rights, including the hit comedy Peep Show, which will air on Dave.

UKTV picked up the programming through its first-look deal with 4Rights, which was negotiated last year. Peep Show, to air on Dave, stars David Mitchell and Robert Webb as old college pals going nowhere slowly. Seasons one through three of Nigella Bites, along with an hour-long Christmas special, will air on Good Food, while a slate of one-hour documentaries—Super Botox Me, The Boy Who Gave Birth to His Twin, A Boy Called Alex and Virgin School—head to Really.

Catherine Mackin, the director of acquisitions at UKTV, said: “I’m absolutely delighted to have secured high rating titles such as Peep Show and Nigella Bites for the UKTV network. This content perfectly complements the excellent shows we acquire from the BBC plus our own growing stable of high-profile commissions.”

Alison Sainsbury-Stack, the head of U.K. secondary broadcast sales at 4Rights, said: “UKTV’s portfolio of channels are a great home for these award-winning and critically-acclaimed titles, and this deal is yet another example of 4Rights working closely with independent producers to maximize the value of their U.K. secondary rights.”
