NEW YORK: Four series from AETN International’s catalogue are headed to Channel Seven in Australia: Pawn Stars, Life After People, WWII Lost Films and Parking Wars.

Channel Seven also picked up the format rights for Pawn Stars. The deal was negotiated by FOXTEL, which represents AETN programming in Australia and New Zealand.

“We are very pleased to sign this agreement with Channel Seven,” said Sean Cohan, the senior VP of international at AETN. “These series have a proven track record, consistently delivering ratings success in the US and I am confident they will appeal to viewers in Australia.”

Pawn Stars is an addiction viewers will be happy to talk about! It has some of the biggest (and most likeable) characters you will ever see on an international factual series with the three generations of the Harrison family running their Las Vegas pawn shop. We’re thrilled to have them joining Seven—Australia’s largest producer of factual programming,” added Angus Ross, Seven’s head of scheduling and acquisitions.
