VH1 Slates New Series, Returning Hits for Fall

NEW YORK: Among the new shows headed to VH1’s fall schedule are Real & Chance: Legend Hunters and Bret Michaels: Life As I Know It, along with returning series such as Football Wives and Fantasia For Real.

On September 6, VH1’s new fall lineup kicks off with VH1’s 100 Greatest Artists of All Time, a five-hour music countdown featuring some of the biggest artists of our time. On September 19, the "Stallionaires" Real and Chance, from VH1’s I Love New York and Real Chance of Love, return to the network for Real & Chance: Legend Hunters. The show will follow the duo as they venture into the animal kingdom and investigate whether certain creatures are actually just myths. The same day will see the return of Fantasia For Real, starring Fantasia Barrino in her real life with music, as well as the new show Carmelo and LaLa, following MTV VJ LaLa Vazguez as she plans her wedding. The following day, September 20, the musical game show Don’t Forget the Lyrics!, heads to VH1, hosted by Mark McGrath.

Another returning personality to VH1 is Bret Michaels with Bret Michaels: Life As I Know It. The docu-series, premiering October 11, will spotlight his home life, music career and his on-again off-again relationship with the mother of his two daughters. Football Wives is slated to follow on October 11 in the 9:30 p.m. slot, with Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew returning at 10 p.m.

Further on the grid are VH1 Rock Doc: Shine a Light, the 2008 documentary from Martin Scorsese about The Rolling Stones, and Brandy and Ray J: A Family Business, back for a second season.
