Redbox to Rent Blu-ray Discs

OAKBROOK TERRACE: The DVD rental kiosk provider Redbox has started rolling out Blu-ray titles, including The Book of Eli, Bounty Hunter and Brooklyn’s Finest.

Redbox has started making Blu-ray rentals available at some 13,300 kiosks nationwide. The company expects the have availability across its network of 23,000 kiosk locations by fall. The number of Blu-ray titles and copies will vary by kiosk and new titles will be added each week.

"Redbox is a convenient, affordable home entertainment provider and we’re delighted to offer consumers their favorite movies on the increasingly popular Blu-ray disc format."
