TORONTO/LOS ANGELES/LONDON: SPE Networks Latin America has licensed the Jason Priestley comedy Call Me Fitz from Entertainment One.

“We are thrilled that Fitz has found a home on SPE Networks Latin America,” said Valerie Cabrera, executive VP of eOne Television International. “We’re confident in the network’s ability to attract an audience for the dark comedy and believe it will resonate with Latin American viewers.”

Call Me Fitz is an exciting addition to the lineup of Sony Pictures Entertainment Networks in Latin America, which offers the best shows in the region," said Carolina Padula, senior director of programming at SPE Networks Latin America. "We’re very confident that audiences will enjoy having Jason Priestley back, as Richard "Fitz" Fitzpatrick, in this hilarious half-hour comedy."

The show, starring Priestley as a used car salesman, premieres in September 2010 on The Movie Network in Eastern Canada and Movie Central in Western Canada.

SPE also picked up Kenny vs. Spenny. In addition, eOne signed a deal for Skin Deep to air on Discovery in the region.
